Electronic live music in Second Life

I’ve been invited to play electronic live music in Second Life to the opening of Asmita Duranjaya‘s installation The Oracle. The concert will be on Sunday, April 24th, beginning at 1:00 pm SLT/22:00 CET. Asmita will accompany my performance with a light and particle show.

Please note: Due to time constraints the initially planed date of April 17th had to be postponed by one week.

Reviews of essay collection

A number of mostly favorable reviews of my essay collection Reductio ad absurdum (publisher Dieter von Reeken) have been published in recent months. Here are some links:

Carsten Kuhr reviewed the book for Phantastik-News.de

Writer and Exodus co-editor Olaf Kemmler posted a review on the Exodus magazine’s website.

Christian Endres posted a comment on Die Zukunft.

A number of readers, among them Montbron, were inspired by my book to read some of the short story writers that I have analyzed in my essays, in this case David I. Masson.

A somewhat more controversial review by Thomas Harbach appeared on Amazon.de

The book was, last not least, praised in a review in phantastisch! #61.

Bulgarian translation of “Der Schattenmann”

Due to some health problems I couldn’t update my website for quite a while. It’s time to catch up with some news.

My short story “Der Schattenmann”, first published in Wolfgang Jeschke‘s anthology Das Proust-Syndrom (Heyne, 1999)  and reprinted in my collection Die letzten Tage der Ewigkeit (Wurdack, 2012), has been translated into Bulgarian by Stoyan Hristov and recently been published in the online magazine Trubadurs.
